I have been working on the Gingerbread Bear Blanket and it is coming along pretty well. I have been making the squares (1 a day) and last week I discovered that I had enough to complete the first section.
I sewed them all together using the whip stitch and this is how they look. He is going to be so cute!!
There are other in-progress projects posted over at Tami's. Take a look :o)

Aw, what a cute pattern!
Lovely pattern!
So cute! It'll be exciting to see the little bear's face stitched in place, won't it?
what an ambitious project!! kudos to you.
and what a great idea to have check-ins and deadlines. i'll bet it keeps you on track. something i could do better at.
That is super cute! A think a square a day is an excellent goal.
It will be adorable when you are done...but, oh my, sooo much sewing....
That is a lot of sewing but will be worth it. I would totally start with the bear himself...I want to see progress right away! :-)
